This live DJ open session is heavily inspired by Dani Tirrel and Amy O’ Neal who host a monthly house open sessions that happen after their house class. We want to be able to have a funk open session that provides a safe and positive space like this every month.

We want this to be a safe space for everyone including LGBTQ, POC, and WOMXN, thus we will not tolerate transphobia, transmisogyny or misogyny, homophobia, racism, xenophobia, islamophobia, ableism, or any other bs. All these dance styles are rooted from African Americans (and also Latinx for some) and we cannot forget to acknowledge that.
